Masters of cutting corners on the smaller details, but good overall. That pool was a godsend after Night 1, and the view wasn’t bad from the top.

The smaller of the stumps is defeated. The feijoa tree - which has followed us in a pot since Mt. Albert - takes its place. Maybe now it will actually give us some fruit.

A piece from each Christmas tree that we’ve had since moving to Auckland (a few years missed from being out of town, overseas etc.). Polyurethaned half to death and ready for December.
