Shoegaze
Four years, 1936 images, condensed to four minutes. Glad to finally be done with this one.
Gone Fishing
2500 still pictures (4530 taken) played in 18 FPS. Made in my bedroom on my desk. Shot with a Canon EOS 600D. Animated in Dragonframe, edited in Photoshop and Sony Vegas. Sound effects recorded with a Blue Yeti - a few downloaded from freesound(dot)org. After months of hard work GOING FISHING is finally here.
MANOMAN
Glen is barely a man. In a desperate attempt to tap into his masculinity he attends a primal scream therapy session, but even surrounded by wailing men he cannot make a sound. When another member of the class pushes Glen too far he finally lets something out- a miniature version of himself which does whatever it wants, regardless of the consequences.
Extrapolate
Mind-bending. Top stuff.
In this hand drawn animation a line is being extrapolated through a grid. When the line surpasses the boundaries of the grid, the process spreads to and reflects on its surroundings. Beyond each boundary the extrapolation of movement is causing deformation in a systematic but speculative way.
