2024 IMHO Beer Ratings - Beer of the Year
Hazy IPAs aren’t my usual go-to but the Garage Project Big Feelings was 10/10 - tasted like an alcoholic fruit punch. Dangerously easy to drink.

My picks for each category:
Stiff competition this year with plenty of great beers across the categories, but this Hazy IPA from Behemoth stood out.
Runners-up for 2022:
A very decent Christmas-themed stout takes out the top spot this year.
Runners-up for 2021:
Given the year that we’ve all had, it seemed appropriate that one of the heavyweights should top the list this time around. The Epic Hop Zombie has been a favourite throughout.
The heavyweights. Epic Hop Zombie still a favourite, with the Liberty Citra a close second.
It’s been the Year of the Hazy IPA. Impossible to keep up with all of the new releases, so this represents my best effort.
It was a close race, but the Behemoth Lid Ripper had the biggest I’d-go-back-to-that-one-again effect (which, in the absence of any clear criteria for picking a favourite, carried a lot of weight).
Exactly as the label described.
It’s that time again. First up, IPAs.
