Sunday afternoon in a picture
The working week looms closer.
The drivers are no better southside

Speed Cooking - #1
The best kind of cooking: At speed, and with alcohol. Another random, context-less mini-project to add to the pile.
A "socially conscious" cleaning option
Big respect for Altus Enterprises in Papatoetoe, doing what they do. We've made the jump over to using some of their cleaning products over the past year or so. Worth it. Online store here.
Michael Bolton and the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra - Civic Theatre, 19.06.2018
Some context: Several years ago we took a long roadtrip to the Far North in a car that only had a cassette player, a tape of Maori classics, and Michael Bolton's greatest hits. We heard "I Said I Loved You But I Lied" so many times through those cheap treble-heavy speakers that it left a permanent mark, and it's continued to find its way into our music rotations since, for better or worse.
Surprise tickets C/o RGK. Vocal fireworks C/o The Man Himself.
Devastatingly accurate question from a family member: "Was the audience full of perspiring, heavily-perfumed perimenopausal women?"
God damn it. Those jeans. That Deep V.
He's a wrecking machine
Not a fan of the thunderstorm the other day while we were out...
A heavy couple of months on the wine front
Time for a wine-specific detox.
Oddities of South Auckland, Part 7 - Inspired by Mexican cartel hits, maybe..?
An unexpected and gruesome find in a southside neighbourhood this morning: A dismembered sheep on the side of the road. Unclear how, why, or who. Lovely.
The daily struggle is real
Those roadworks seem like they're never-ending. Consequently, so do the queues.
