Frantic.
Frantic.
Some context: Several years ago we took a long roadtrip to the Far North in a car that only had a cassette player, a tape of Maori classics, and Michael Bolton's greatest hits. We heard "I Said I Loved You But I Lied" so many times through those cheap treble-heavy speakers that it left a permanent mark, and it's continued to find its way into our music rotations since, for better or worse.
Surprise tickets C/o RGK. Vocal fireworks C/o The Man Himself.
Devastatingly accurate question from a family member: "Was the audience full of perspiring, heavily-perfumed perimenopausal women?"

The old M-Audio interface (not recommended), and the Death by Audio Robot 8-bit pedal (cool concept, but limited in its practicality); 2012.
My only picture of my Dunedin effects board. From memory (left to right): Boss tremolo, EHX Big Muff, Vox Satchurator distortion, Guyatone overdrive.
Circa 2009.
Real estate is getting tight.
Newest board member. Definitely a TC Electronic fanboy these days.

Probably our last trip to The King's Arms, given the
set to end its long run in the next month or so. A suitably bone-rattling show from Jakob, rounded out with some excellent company.
